Our “Grand Finale” Goldendoodle litter has arrived!!!
After waiting on pins and needles all Easter weekend, Mama Lexi finally decided that Tuesday, April 2nd was the day she wanted her last litter to be born!
We welcomed eight precious puppies into the world – 3 handsome boys & 5 lovely girls!
After playing fetch all weekend long (BIG belly and all!), Lexi finally seems different on Tuesday morning, which made me think that it might finally be baby time!
The kids skipped school and Lexi’s family hurried over, so that we could all be present to welcome our newest but very last LOD litter together. It was a very special day, watching each puppy come into the world, calling out, “It’s a boy!” or “It’s a girl!” over and over again.
Watching a new life begin simply never gets old.
Mama Lexi was a champ and did such a wonderful job birthing her little ones. We are incredibly proud of her and are excited that she is just weeks away from living the “sweet retired life” for the rest of her years.

Our boy, Noah, got to “catch” the last puppy. After being around for several births, I had a feeling that he was ready. And he did a fantastic job.
It’s a moment I’ll never forget and will cherish forever.
Okay, all mushy stories aside.
